The School History

Bishop James Yisa Memorial School is an Exclusive Government approved Co-educational Day and Boarding Institution, situated in Kwamba, a suburb of Suleja, Niger State. It is about 200 meters from Minna Road Junction.

The Nursery and Primary arms were established in 1995, and two years after, the secondary section followed suit.

Bishop James Yisa Memorial School is not just a school among others, it is a unique school where pupils and students from all walks of life and religion converge for knowledge acquisition and academic excellence.

The school was established in obedience to the divine revelation to the proprietor Evang. Austine B. Buoro to reverse the anomalies prevalent in the nations educational system, and for the restoration of those cherished moral values of our society that are fast being eroded.

It is a product of his desire to see students who have been taught, nurtured and equipped with fundamental and functional knowledge and skills to enable them grapple with the challenges of the ever increasing knowledge both in arts, science, and technology.
